Because of the way that paypal works, we can’t upgrade active paid subscriptions (upgrading from free to paid is fine though) and so you will have to cancel your current subscription first. You should be able to click here to get to the right page and click on the unsubscribe link. One you have finished unsubscribing you can upgrade to the new account type.

To do this, go to the ‘Edit My Profile’ link by rolling your mouse over your username in the top left hand corner of the screen.

Then, when you’ve brought up the Profile page, click on ‘Membership Details’.

On the right hand side of this page you will see a section ‘Paypal Unsubscribe’ – click on the paypal link here and follow the instructions and then come back and use the upgrade links.
