Bradshaw Arm Patternsf/11, 1/500 sec, ISO 800, Canon R5, Canon RF 100-500 @ 135mmSometimes, when there are severe wind warnings, we get to moor overnight at the top end of Bradshaw Arm of Doubtful Sound, and this is probably the most sheltered corner of the fiord. This far into the corner of the fiord, the water is quite black with forest sediments and foam floating on the surface. This all came together for me as a photograph when a slight breeze rippled the surface, creating a pattern that leads the eye through the image to the far shore. more →
