08 Crooked Arm Rain

Crooked Arm Rainf/4.5, 1/160 sec, ISO 800, Canon 5D Mk IV, Canon 100-400 @ 100mmWhen the storms do come in from the west, the rain is intense and falls in blankets. To capture this in a photograph requires getting very wet as well as a bit of luck. The luck in this shot comes in the form of a break in the clouds that created back lighting that separated the rain out from the background, which otherwise would have remained grey and flat looking.
