Even though I was on a tripod and could, therefore, use a slow shutter speed, there was still a small amount of breeze that created some movement to the fern, which is why I increased the ISO to 200. Using a long lens helped isolate the fern from the background, which was otherwise quite busy. I made this image while walking on the Kepler track near Lake Manopouri. more
