The improvements and inclusion of comments in the PDF is a very nice touch! Wonderful work.

  • Thanks Tim – means a lot :-)

  • Hi Tim

Some feedback on the new pdf and the as-you-go publishing schedule.

I like the cleaner look of the new PDF except for one visual niggle (which, if it is just me, you’ll be doing the right thing to disregard). That’s the way some of the images bleed off on just one edge which I find visually distracting. When the images are bigger, this is less of problem or not a problem at all. But when they are smaller or “thinner”, it feels bad – the implied lack of a white boarder means my eyes kind of drop of the edge. Could be just me.

The other feedback I have is probably against the grain. I much preferred discrete publishing date to ad hoc and bundling approach. Mostly because it gave me something to look forward to and I could “binge” on all of the On Landscape goodies once a fortnight. Made for an excellent and inspiring alternative to the crappy Sunday papers in this part of the world. I didn’t even mind if the mag was late as it was part of the anticipation. Now I need to have the self discipline of not looking at the site and waiting for you “the pdf is up” email. Again, probably just me. And it’s not like I didn’t comment in the previous format :)

    Great work never the less.
    David
