It’s been a busy week at chez Parkin with the announcement of winners for the Natural Landscape Photography Awards. This year, we’ve had our Photographer of the Year, Photograph of the Year, and Project of the Year all won by female photographers (we’ve had many winners before, but the triple crown is a new achievement!). So, congratulations to Joy Kachina, Margrit Schwarz, and Hanneke van Camp! You’ll be able to see some of their photos in the next issue, as well as a round-up of the results.
In our last issue, we published an article that I had written about Aspen, and we made a call for people to submit their own Aspen images for inclusion in a future article. We’ve been really happy not only with the number of responses but also with the quality and variety. We’ll be publishing this article in the following issue.
