Subscribers 4×4 Portfolios
Garry Brannigan, John Higgs, Paolo Berto & Paul Hurlow
I've been around photography and photographers for more than three decades. For the last ten years I’ve been running photographic workshops, and the previous twenty years were spent editing photojournalism on UK national newspapers.
I have been taking photos of my family for nearly 50 years. Now retired I am indulging my love of the abstract and unusual. This has been encouraged by Garry Brannigan, who has taught me not to be afraid and follow my instincts.
I have always been passionate about photography, I'm Italian and I live near Milan, in a highly populated area, which, however, can reveal glimpses of unexpected beauty and true nature.
Living in South Wales I have used photography to document the area for around twenty years. Primarily an enthusiastic amateur landscape photographer I am particularly influenced by the New Topographics movement.
Our 4x4 feature is a set of four mini landscape photography portfolios from our subscribers, each consisting of four images related in some way. You can view previous 4x4 portfolios here.
If you would like to submit your 4x4 portfolio, please visit this page for submission information. We are looking for contributions for the next few issues, so please do get in touch if you're interested!
